Local Link Waterford is delighted to announce the new service from Ardmore to Dungarvan Route 361.

Calling at Ardmore, Old Parish, Helvick, Ballynagaul, An Rinn and Dungarvan with connections in Dungarvan to Waterford and Cork. This service will operate four times a day return Monday to Saturday.

The development of new local bus services serving rural areas across the County continues to be a priority for Local Link. The launch of this new service between Ardmore and Dungarvan fills an obvious gap in local public transport services and will open up opportunities not only for local residents to make connections for employment, health, education and recreational opportunities to and from Dungarvan, but also allow visitors to access the beautiful Gaeltacht na nDeise and award winning historic Ardmore.

“We are delighted that the National Transport Authority continue to support the on-going development of local bus services under the Local Link Rural Transport Programme and are confident that the Ardmore to Dungarvan service will be well supported by the local community. We have developed the current timetable with a view to allowing people living in the area to get to Dungarvan for 9.00am, and the final return service will leave Dungarvan at 6.00pm” said Local Link Waterford Manager James O’Donoghue.

Local Link Waterford has operated public bus services across the County over the past thirteen years and continues to grow the number of services that are run in the Waterford area. Services include: Tallow to Dungarvan via Lismore, Cappoquin and Melleray; Dungarvan to Waterford via Stradbally, Bunmahon, Kill, Dunhill, and Kilmeaden and extended services from Tramore to Dungarvan via Annestown, Dunhill, Kill, Bunmahon and Stradbally.
